MinistryWeb.org offers a shared free SSL (secure server) certificate for you to use.    Forms directed to the secure SSL server would have a specific URL such as https://secure.MinistryWeb.org/your_domain/your-page.html. We will provide you with that information when you request that to be added to your account.

A PERSONALIZED CERTIFICATE
If your company would like a personalized SSL certificate (https://www.yourdomain.com) for your site then you must purchase your own SSL Certificate.

We have partnered with GeoTrust.com to offer our web hosting customers a QuickSSL Premium™ high quality SSL certificate with security seal. By partnering with GeoTrust, we are able to offer you this $229 value for just $139. The current annual renewal rate is $129/year. When this SSL certificate is purchased through MinistryWeb.org, we do not charge a SSL certificate installation fee. You can order your own GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium™ certificate through your control panel

If you'd prefer to purchase your own SSL certificate directly from a SSL certificate authority instead, here are a few companies that provide Secure Certificates.

These SSL certificates are supported on our servers and are widely recognized by today's web browsers.

The steps to getting your own SSL certificate (https://www.your_name.com) involve:
When requesting the CSR, we need the following:
Secure URL (i.e., https://your_domain.com or https://www.your_domain.com):
  NOTE:  The URL that is secured MUST be exact. If you want to use "www" in
  your secured URL, then the certificate MUST be for "https://www.your_name.com"

Business Division (if applicable):
State (spelled out):
City:
  1. Requesting a CSR for your domain - do this through the ticket system at support.MinistryWeb.org
  2. We will then provide you with the CSR
  3. When the certificate authority has issued the certificate, please forward us the information
  4. We will then install the certificate

    NOTE: We do charge a $25 setup fee to setup your own SSL certificate on the server, except for the GeoTrust certificate purchased through MinistryWeb.org.
